FAQ
Honest answers.
No marketing fluff — including on the uncomfortable topics.
The longform autopilot
→What exactly does BeatOS do with my beat?
You drop your bounce, BeatOS renders a complete longform video for YouTube — full length, not a teaser. It also drafts the thumbnail (A/B variants), the tags and the genre from your channel data, writes the description, and schedules the upload at your best hour based on real watchtime. Nothing ships without your OK: everything waits in the queue until you approve.
→Why longform and not shorts?
Because longform type-beat videos are what your channel lives on — and what the upload grind eats your evenings for. Rendering the full video, labeling it, uploading it: BeatOS takes that entire job. Shorts-style Reels are included as a bonus with Pro, but the core is the longform upload.
→How does the best-time upload work?
BeatOS looks at the watchtime patterns of your channel and finds the hour where your releases historically perform best. The upload goes out at that slot — while the app is running. The scheduler plans the slots ahead, but the computer needs to stay on; standby is usually not enough.
→How much time does this actually save?
The evening you currently spend exporting, labeling, thumbnailing and uploading. You drop the beat, read the draft once, tweak a line if you want, tap approve — and get on with your day. The upload form and the caption typing at 1 am are gone.
Security & accounts
→Is my Google/YouTube account safe?
BeatOS uses the official Google OAuth flow — we never see your password. Tokens are stored encrypted on your machine, not on our servers. You can revoke the connection at any time in your Google account settings.
→Can Google ban my account?
BeatOS complies with the YouTube API Terms of Service and uses the official Data API for uploads. Automated uploads via the API are allowed. OAuth app verification is currently in progress with Google.
→What about Instagram and TikTok?
Honestly: the automation there works, but it's not officially supported by either platform. Instagram connects via the official Graph API (business account required), TikTok runs through the automation engine. The UI tells you exactly where the risk lies — and you decide.
Subscription & billing
→Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, any time at the end of the month — one click in settings, no cancellation hurdles. Your plan then continues as Basic and your data stays intact.
→What does the trial cost?
During the beta, Pro is free for 7 days (no credit card in the app). Checkout trials add your card and renew automatically after day 7 — cancel any time. Beta users also lock in the founding price: −30% forever.
→What's the difference between Pro and Unlimited?
Pro (€14/mo) is the longform autopilot for a running channel: complete video, thumbnail, tags and genre, best-time upload — plus the Reels and Analytics bonus. Unlimited (€29/mo) adds more channels, unlimited beats per month and priority rendering for label setups.
→Is there a lifetime deal?
No, on purpose. BeatOS is a subscription (monthly/yearly) — that's how we keep shipping without freezing features.
Product
→Who is BeatOS for?
For beat producers running YouTube channels with type beats who don't want to spend hours every day on uploads, captions, thumbnails and scheduling. From your first channel to a multi-channel label setup.

Both. BeatOS is a desktop app with signed builds for macOS (notarized) and Windows (code signing).
→How many channels can I connect?
Basic: 1 · Pro: 2 · Unlimited: 5. Connect channels during onboarding or later in settings via OAuth.
